I specialize in supporting adults and teens navigating the complex emotional landscape of adoption. Adoption-related trauma is a deeply personal and often profound journey that can significantly shape an adoptee’s sense of identity. With over twenty years of experience as a psychotherapist—particularly within specialized school settings—I bring a deep understanding of the therapeutic needs of adolescents, many of whom face challenges related to learning differences and Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker fluent in both English and Spanish, possessing over a decade of experience in community mental health, school settings, healthcare mental health, and the private sector. My expertise spans from working with children to the elderly. I address a variety of issues, including general mood disorders, anxiety disorders, trauma, and life transitions.
The past is a good place to visit but certainly not a place to stay
